East Grange Kittens – August 2024

You may recall that back in May we took in four community kittens that had taken residence in our back garden. We have since managed to capture and have neutered the mother, and also her tabby daughter, but not before she too had produced her own litter of four more kittens. Those are still at large but seem to have been reduced to just two now. At some point these will need to be trapped and neutered too in order to prevent any further breeding. We think we have identified the tom cat: a ginger that has since been adopted by someone and will hopefully be neutered too.
The four we have taken in are now more than 12 weeks old. With a lot of attention they have all become domesticated, to different degrees, but all should make good house pets, once they too have been neutered. We would welcome any offers to take one or two of these in, if they can be provided with a safe and friendly home, though we may well keep one (or two). If you would like to meet them, please contact us on 01609 748892 where you can leave a message, or email either bazealley@gmail.com or rjzealley@gmail.com.
