Horse Droppings

Chris Barron has asked for this notice to go out having received some complaints about horse droppings in the footpaths between Common Lane and Beech Close, and Beech Close and Silver Street, with one lady ruining a pair of shoes in the darkness.

This hardly seems fair. We regularly put out notices about dog poo, so horse riders shouldn’t need to feel picked on, but they should feel the need to pick up anywhere that people walk.

Chris will also write, once again, to the livery stables asking riders not to use village footways. And if they do, they cannot be unaware of their horse’s droppings, so please be good neighbours and come back and clear it up!
