Lungworm in Scruton!

There appears to be lungworm around the village. Lungworm is a parasitic infection that is fatal in dogs, spread by the secretions of slugs and snails. Lungworm of a different sort can affect cats too.

In the last few days, there has been a very sad case of a dog having to be put to sleep because of it. The dog had only been walked around the Kirby Lane/Greengate Lane/Lumley Lane/Village Way loop.
