Noticeboards
Parish Council noticeboards are located at the village hall and on the village green. A public-access noticeboard is located in the bus shelter opposite Pittfields Corner.
Scruton Information Signboard
A ‘Thankful Village’ signboard located on the village green near the Church, tells the story of Scruton from its ancient origins through to it becoming a Thankful Village.
Thankful Ale – January 2022
Over 190 cases and 15 mini kegs have been sold. All profits go to the Village Hall for the benefit of the community.

The weather in 2021 was extraordinary. After a cold, wet winter, April and May were the coldest for thirty years and unusually dry.
Screen Scruton cancelled
Screening was due to return in January but in light of the recent news about the Covid Omicron variant, a decision will now be deferred until the new year.
