Noticeboards
Parish Council noticeboards are located at the village hall and on the village green. A public-access noticeboard is located in the bus shelter opposite Pittfields Corner.
Scruton Information Signboard
A ‘Thankful Village’ signboard located on the village green near the Church, tells the story of Scruton from its ancient origins through to it becoming a Thankful Village.
Langton Bridge Closures
In preparation for the winter weather, works are programmed to clear the debris under Gt Langton Bridge and reinforce one of the bridge piers.
Thankful Fireworks 2021
This year’s Thankful Firework Display will be on Saturday 13 November on Scruton Playing Field.
Village Picnic
A Village Picnic was held on the Playing Field on 4 September followed by a Harvest Festival on 19 September and then a Newcomers’ Welcome Afternoon
